"Happiness is Easy Tour" was one of the biggest events and became a huge
success in Poland this year. Myslovitz played in Warsaw, Lodz, Poznan,
Gdansk, Cracow, Katowice and Wroclaw. Once again they haven't
disappointed their fans. The audience could feel special because
Myslovitz prepared special track list: the whole new album and many old
songs that they hardly ever play live. Besides a new special scenography
and light design prepared esspecially for this tour and excellent sound
production charmed the audience.
Nov 31st Myslovitz starts touring and promoting "Happiness is Easy" in
Ireland. The new album was released there in August this year.

Is a new album in the works for 2005? According to the management, Myslovitz are currently working on a new album right now. They plan to record from September 20 until the end of October. With any luck, fans may get the album before the year is over!

This has nothing to do with Myslovitz, but rather any website whose URL ends with .us. Recently, the National Telecommunications and Information Association [www.ntia.doc.gov] made a decision that no new .us sites can be registered unless the owners allow all their personal information to be displayed publicly. While my own information is public, this is an unfair decision, and I believe it's unconstitutional. I have signed a petition here: www.TheDangerOfNoPrivacy.com
I don't believe that people should be forced to have their personal information displayed to the public, if they choose to hide it. Anyone can see this information. Thieves, stalkers, anybody. If a person wants to be private, they should be allowed to remain so.
Just to clarify: Myslovitz USA isn't going anywhere, as long as I'm around! But owners of .us sites should be allowed to have privacy, in my opinion.

Myslovitz are re-releasing their first album Myslovitz (originally released in 1995). This album was relatively hard to find, as it's been awhile since its release, so the news of its re-release is great for everyone who didn't catch it the first time around. To further our delight, there will be three bonus tracks added to the original lineup: A remix of "Myslovitz", a live version of "Blue Velvet", and "Drive Blind". The re-release date is set for March 26, 2005. The discography on this website has been updated to reflect this exciting development!

Following the success of Lenny Valentino, Mietall Waluś
(originally from Negatyw) has decided to form another group in the same manner. Just in case you're unaware of what I mean (and haven't been reading this site properly! *angry glare!*), read about Lenny Valentino here.
This time, Mietall and Lala Kuderski are working together, along with Adrian "Afgan" Gąsior (also from Negatyw) and Bartek Słatyński (Avalanche), to form Penny Lane, named, of course, after the famous Beatles' song. They have already begun churning out material, which is said to echo bits of grunge, stoner-rock, and something from the new rock revolution. The music is a little more rigorous than Myslovitz's and a little faster than Negatyw's, but most definitely guitar music. Around May-June, Penny Lane will begin touring the country. Their first album will be released in the summer. (HUGE thanks to Liz for helping me fix errors in my translation!)
You may think that, after having just released a new album in December, it's too soon for new material... but it seems nothing can stop Myslovitz! After this leg of touring, they plan on heading back to the studio in April to begin work on a new album, which should be released in the summertime. Rumor has it that the cover art for their next album will be decided via contest among fans' submissions.

On January 23, Myslovitz were awarded the European Breakthrough Award, established by the European Commission. The annual award, handed out in Cannes at MIDEM 2005, goes to an artist from one of the ten countries that joined the EU recently. It honors the bestselling act outside the borders of the native country. This year's EBA celebrates "Korova Milky Bar" [English version] tat was released by the majority of European EMI divisions. The album was heavily promoted during the European tour in 2004. Congratulations!

Myslovitz have been invited by The Corrs to be their opening act on The Corrs European Tour. This is indeed a great opportunity for Myslovitz to promote their music to a broader audience, especially considering that they are expected to perform to about 200,000 people per venue! (Check the tour dates for more information.) After this, Myslovitz are expected back to the studio to work on the next album.

Another member of Myslovitz has paired up with Krzysztof Krawczyk for a song.
This time, it's Artur Rojek, who contributed his lyrics to Krawczyk's "Ostatni
Taniec" (or "last dance"). The song can be found on Krzysztof Krawczyk's latest
album, To co w życiu jest ważne.
Myslovitz will record music for the English film "Polish Kiss". From what little I can understand from the original news article, fragments of songs from Korova Milky Bar [Polish version] will be in the film, and there is a possibility of new material making an appearance, as well. "Polish Kiss" will premiere in November 2004.
